Webinar Overview

This webinar will focus on introducing the newly revised CETA CAG-002 to pharmacy professionals and cleanroom certifiers focusing on certification testing of Restricted Access Barrier Systems (RABS). It is a topic that will be helpful for determining how the testing has been updated, while also discussing how the definition and role of these devices has changed since the revisions to USP chapters 797 and 800.

Learning Objectives

  • Summarize the required (and optional) tests for certification of these devices and how they apply to the different categories of RABS, including Compounding Aseptic Isolators (CAIs) and Compounding Containment Aseptic Containment Isolators (CACIs).
  • Examine the changes to testing procedures from the original document.
  • Discuss the role of these devices as redefined in USP chapters 797 & 800. We will also discuss how these units differ from Pharmaceutical Isolators, as a newly included in those documents.
