The CNBT Committee is currently putting plans in motion to form a group of member Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop an Accreditation Program for testing Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs). This program will be similar to the existing Accreditation Programs for Sterile Compounding Facilities, Clean Room Testing, and Fume Hood Testing that are currently available through CETA / CNBT. We are seeking volunteer SMEs to assist with the first phase of the program. This initial phase will involve developing a DACUM (an acronym for “Developing a Curriculum”), where we will develop a “Blueprint” to identify the reference materials to be used and the subjects that will need to be covered on the BSC exams. This is a volunteer program; all related travel, meal, and lodging expenses will be reimbursed. The meetings will take place in the Orlando, FL area, approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. The meeting dates will be determined prior to the first session. If you are interested in participating, please submit your resume and any questions to [email protected] by the end of business on Friday, December 27, 2024. The CNBT committee will review all submitted resumes. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions. |
